Middle Marches Conference
Spring 2021 (date TBC) at Norbury Village Hall
What to expect
- How should we conserve and green our landscape?
- How can we improve our soil?
- How could we grow better crops?
- How can we eat more local food?
- Where do we get finance to help make all our ideas work?
The Middle Marches Community Land Trust is hosting an event that will begin to answer some of these questions by starting a local and regional discussion about what each one of us can do about them.
Over one or two days key speakers will explain the issues, local farmers and practitioners will tell the story about what works for them and then visits later in the year will give you a chance to see and explore practical examples for yourselves and meet to discuss them with like-minded people. We plan to organise our events calendar for 2021 around key themes from the Conference.
Each part of the event will aim to identify local and personal actions that will make a genuine difference.
We are hoping to hold the event in the Spring of 2021 but this is only the start! We hope that the ideas formed at the Conference will be nourished and grown by each one of us in a series of practical activities.
If you would like to nominate someone to speak at the Conference, please let us know.
If you have a general question, please feel free to email us at info@middlemarchescommunitylandtrust.org.uk.
A sign-up form for the Conference will be released later in the year when we have set a date for Spring 2021.
