Community Plant Group Walks 2024
Community Wildlife Plant Group walks 2024
Introduction
These events will be held in the areas of the Camlad, Rea Valley and Upper Onny Wildlife Groups and are open to anyone interested in plants, whether you are a complete beginner, an experienced botanist or somewhere in between. This year’s events are a combination of species recording, survey and informal ID sessions. The events include several miles of walking, often over rough ground, so a reasonable level of fitness is needed.
Please bring sturdy footwear (walking boots or wellies), waterproofs, and lunch/refreshments if needed. Booking is not essential, but it is helpful to know how many people are intending to come so if you are able, please email cassy.clayton@naturalengland.org.uk in the week before the walk if you are intending to come. For more information on these events contact Rob Rowe 01588 442 008 / rob@robrowe.co.uk
