A list of organisations working in nature, farming, and the environment across the Marches.
Marches Meadow Group
We are a small, enthusiastic group of local smallholders living in the Stiperstones and Cordon Hill area of the Welsh Marches, who are interested in the management and conservation of wildflower-rich hay meadows.
A landscape-scale nature conservation project aiming to restore wildlife to the Stiperstones, the Long Mynd and the Onny Valley that separates the two sets of hills. This project is being run by the National Trust in conjunction with other wildlife and conservation groups, local landowners and volunteers.
Lightfoot is a not for profit organisation and its principal activity is to promote sustainable use of the Earth’s resources for the benefit of the public and environment.
South Shropshire Climate Action
We are a group of local people who have written a Climate Action Plan for the Ludlow Constituency to achieve Net-Zero by 2030.
Zero Carbon Shropshire
Zero Carbon Shropshire is an action-driven partnership of local people and businesses, all dedicated to helping our county fight climate change. Together, we’re taking a co-ordinated, collaborative response to the climate and ecological crisis at local level.
